The flexibility of the SSI system of diver education allows you to begin scuba training in one location and complete certification in another. Ideal for those who wish to complete academics and/or pool diving at a leisurely pace in their home town then enjoy their open water dives whilst on holiday. Unable to complete a certification due to unforeseen circumstances, the SSI referral system allows you credit, on modules completed, to continue at any SSI center worldwide.
What's involved ?
The SSI Open Water courses are divided into modules and consist of five academic sessions - video and lecture, swimming pool sessions.
What do I need to start ?
Be at least 10 years old and be able to swim. NATX Divers provides all equipment, boat trips, etc., for the duration of the course. We can lend you the SSI Manual for all SSI Courses.
